I have a Finger leather that looks lonely, the growth is at the top. Would it be safe to put a Cabbage leather near it to fill in space around the bottom? Hoping that they can be friends not foes.

you can definitely try it, softies usually end up fighting for space by releasing chemicals into the water that can be reduced with carbon. So, may be run a little extra carbon for a while.
