something I,ve never seen. some of the branch tips are expanding[blowing up like ballons] then they are splitting off and drifting around the tank, till they attach to something.
 
Yeah, that sounds like it’s reproducing—got any pics? It sounds strangely like polyp bailout like what euphys do.
