Is there a difference? Anyone have any side by side shots? I guess maybe Fire Crackers are more orange, but it could just be the same paly under different conditions. Any thoughts?

I have yet to see either of the two personally but have you checked Zoaid for them yet? I have found that to be the most helpful in identifying these because of the different names from different areas of the world giving them different names!

Yeah, I more or less have that site memorized. LOL! No mention of fire crackers on there that I've seen yet.

I think Magicians have the speckled look in the middle, where firecrackers are more of a solid center from what I remember.

Okay. I found this image that was titled FireCrackers. I agree that they have a more solid center. I wonder if that is just a result of the conditions they're kept under or if they are a different paly entirely. I've seen my Magicians look anywhere some something like this, to specked across the whole paly.

Fire crackers are more a solid darker color, when magicions are a sparkle color almost a illusion.

other magicians give the look of some type of 'agave' salted/blue/pink etc.
