My fire fish has been shy for a while and only comes out when feeding. However every time I turn on my blue aquarium lights it always comes out. Would you recommend keeping it on?

if it's not broken, why fix it? how long have you had the fire fish? perhaps it is still getting acquainted with its new surroindings.

Had him for about 2-3 weeks
firefish are generally very shy. give it another week. but if the blue light is working, i say to keep it but to slowly add white into the spectrum as to make it more viewable by you and your guests.
