Fire Shrimp death

Help! I purchased a fire shrimp today and he died after 4 hours of being in my tank! Ammonia Nitrate Nitrite all 0 and specific gravity 1.025. Did I do something wrong???

dang, that sucks. I had one die but at least he lasted like a month. Did you acclimate him?

Yeah but you should have drip acclimated him I think. Anyways I'm beginning to think these fire shrimp are only ok if you get 2, which is pretty expensive. My advice is, get 2 cleaner shrimp and call it a day. They're better anyhoo if you ask me.

I have a fire shrimp and a cleaner shrimp I had in my nano for over a year.
They are both in my 120 now with 3 pepermint shrimp too.
The cleaner and fire were in a 18x18x18 nano. No problem together

Very sensitive... need to slowly drip acclimate fire shrimp. I have one but himself... his most of the time! I was thinking of getting a couple cleaner shrimp as well so they would be more active in the tank.

They are Very sensitive to acclimation and recommend to acclimate over 2-3 hrs

Mine both survived a move over a year ago. Come to think of it I have had both for at least 20 months now.
The fire hid most of the time in the nano but is much more active in the 120
