I cant find any info out there on this and I'm wondering if someone else has come across it. I have 50gal cube with 2 clowns a purple firefish, high fin goby and pistol shirmp. That last 2 week I could not figure out where my fire fish has been hiding in the tank. Well today I fed my tank and I finally figured out the mystery. My firefish is housing with my pistol shirmp and high fin goby. Only coming out to eat. Nothing picking on him and he been in the tank for about 3 month without problems. Has any one heard of a pistol shrimp and firefish living together I'm completely lost on the behavior.

Mine sleeps with a couple of gobies, that's not unusual but it should be out swimming all day.

Firefish can be easily intimidated. Once they start hiding all day they may stop eating and then just vanish.
