Firefish vs bristleworm

Poor little purple firefish always sleeps on the sand under a rock near a bistleworm which has gotten pretty big. It looks like he’s been rolling around in fiberglass shards. I doubt he can survive this....
I think it’s time for me to get a worm trap.

Wow, thanks for sharing. Keep us posted on how the fish is doing. I've had lots of those spines in my fingers and they seem very mild, but I'm not a tiny firefish.

That’s really sad to see, I’m sorry. Maybe there’s some way for you to catch the fish and pull them out with tweezers?
That’s a good question, I’m not sure. Also not sure if I can catch it. I’m letting nature take it’s course on this one.
