Hello Reef squad,

This is my first acro! Please help me ID it. It looks like a christmas tree :p

Thanks in advance!

I can't ID it, but it looks really close to that euphyllia. If it's just the angle of the pic, cool, if not, better move it or it won't be your first Acro for long!

Congrats BTW.

You already saved the acro with me having it a couple hours in the tank, thank goodness the lights are off and the baby frogspawn were shriveled up. Completely forgot about that placement as I am very excited about this guy. Appreciate it!

You think the xenia or acan will bother it? The acans probably won’t reach it fully expanded but the xenia might.

Keep the xenia away from it, i had some xenia touch my first acro as well and it killed a branch

Maybe staghorn, or spathulata?

@C. Eymann
Its a stag I believe
Id compare it with acropora parilis, micropathalma, loisettae etc etc

Looks closest to parilis with its tubular radial corallites.

It does look closest to acropora parilis! The tubular radial corrallites are all on top of the branch and are green. There are none under the branches, which are a purple color.
