Hi Reef2Reef,

First time trying to aquascape using wet rock. Was going for 2 small islands with the island on the right wrapping around to the front.

Sand will be fixed tonight. I was figuring out flow direction.

Looks very nice. Can you tell us what the white tube on the right corner is?

Thanks for the feedback. Wife thinks I should add more to generate hiding spaces. Think I should build up one of the islands to make it appear larger than the other?

White tube comes from my RO/DI unit. Have to manually supervise top off water until my ATO and water reservoir come in. Temporary for now.

You could add some positive vertical space to one of the islands. Just remember that your coral will grow out.

I took out the middle wrap out of the island on the right, and added it to the island on the left to add a bit more height. Thoughts?

I prefer the look of the first pic with the little lagoon-ish 'leg'
I like the low look for corals to eventually fill in above the rock.
To appease your wife, consider adding a bit more rock to one of the tops to create a swim through. Will require some glue/epoxy to keep things safe.

Consider lowering the right pump and pointing it up rather than down. This will help stop the sand blowing around, help with surface agitation, and also help to keep crud moving for easier removal.

Both of your pumps are capable of sucking in sand so lower as best as you can until you find the sweet spot.
