On that aptasia, using a syringe, mix kalkwasser powder into a thin paste and inject into center core of the aptasia which will melt away.

Turbos are great! Just remember to flip em over from time to time as if they are left unturned they can realise a lot of nutrients into the aquarium.

So the Diamond Goby vanished on Sat... just gone. No trace of him anywhere. We even reviewed the webcam overlooking the tank to see if he jumped and my cat took off with him. Simply Houdinied from the tank. Ironically as it would be, the DIY Red Sea top arrived Sat as well... Wonder if he knew the top was coming?

He has a chance on jumping so look around the aquarium but think of all the places a fish can fit, as a sand sifting goby maybe he is under the sand? Trapped or just making a house under some rocks, check the overflow and plumbing, check ammonia and nitrate, maybe he is just sleeping behind some rocks where you can't see him.

So the Diamond Goby was finally found while cleaning up cords under the TV stand. It he definitely jumped out prior to me getting the lid on :( We can only assume our cat batted him under the TV stand based on the sheer distance between the tank and where we found him. RIP “Doug”
