Hey everybody. I know everyone remembers starting their first tank and the coral they put in. I’m sure you don’t remember all the coral but I know you all remember the very first thing you saw get a new mouth or polyp or branch. What was the exciting thing you first grew. For me it was a dragon soul favia. Everyone said they had slow growth and it did. but outta no we’re one day I saw 5 new little mouths when I went to feed. It went from 2 to 7 and I was so excited. I wana hear and possibly see your guys firsts!

This is one of the reasons I love sps. It's so easy to check the new growth. OH look that's encrusted a couple of mm since last time. However, that said, I think the favias are my current favorite coral. I have a bit of a collection going now. I have one that looks very similar to yours. Just kind of sat there a couple months and then the other day, poof a new head. It's been really easy for me to pick up frags of them off the rescue rack for $5-10.
