How you like the light so far? Debating on getting this or the AI nano one. Also, where did you buy the screen cover from?
The light is awesome, haven't put a Par meter on it, but it is a visually appealing light and is easy to adjust. Bought my cover from Kraken Reef Lids. I had an issue with my mesh, not sure if it was self inflicted or not, but i messaged them and they sent me a repair kit no questions asked. Excellent customer service and great product.

Could you take more photos of the fitment of the lid and how it does against the black wall? Thanks

It was hard to get a good picture of the back, it is aligned well, it just shows up weird because of the drop for the emergency overflow.

It only makes noise on the higher settings and you can only hear it if sitting right next to the tank, sounds kinda like a vibrating phone. I think I would buy the bigger pump if I were to do it again though. But yes, flow wise it is good.

I went with the 538 just for that reason. Fits perfect. Running it at 1.7 in the sine wave mode.
I can’t hear it at all. Of course my hearing is suspect at my age

Figured I'd update my thread, just to keep posted but also to give myself a time-line. Got a pretty nasty algae outbreak including bryopsis. Started flucanazole treatment last night. Let's see how it goes, should have an update in 2 weeks.

Was just checking out the tank and man is flucanazole a miracle drug? Tank is looking 1000x better just a couple days short of 2 weeks into treatment. Sorry for the bad pic, I need a filter lens.

Hi all. New to this forum. Ordered IM 15 and now waiting for it. Upgraded to the 528 after reading many posts. Might be overkill but I don't want to be underpowered. All your posts were helpful, thanks.

Hi again. Question for you IM 15 folks. I'm going to add a skimmer. Anyone have thoughts on the IM skimmer vs. another (like the Eshopps Nano Skimmer)?

I'd honestly recommend adding stuff and waiting on a skimmer. I'm struggling to keep nitrates above 0. I ordered a skimmer with the intention of using it and it's a Bubble Magus Mini Q, it will fit nicely in the 2nd chamber, but I don't have a use for it at the moment. Someone else is using a Tunze skimmer.

Just an update, I ditched the dual return nozzle and went back to the stock single return aimed at the surface for agitation. Added a Jebao MOW-3 wavemaker. It has added a ton of life to my tank, clowns dash through the wave, and my hammer sways nicely.

Updating my thread for the first time in a while. Things are going great, my first and only corals were exosphere zoas and this thing sold to me as micro hammer, both are doing great. Zoas started at 3 polyps. Have 2 RFA that I really like.

For all you IM15 users struggling with flow, I just installed a new Jebao Gyre, this thing is AWESOME. It's a Jebao ECP-50M

Nice to see your build. I plan to purchased the 15 as well
I would 100% recommend it. It's a great little tank. Kinda hard to scape and get flow right just because of the size, but I love it

Some more small updates. I finally got the relationship I've always wanted to see/have. Such a beautiful thing to see. Also got this bouncy fella.
