First reef tank build under way!!

So I have just salt water at 1.024SG and 24.5degC in the tank at the moment, circulating through filter socks only. The water is pretty cloudy and a yellow tint to it, is this normal and should clear eventually?

Water mixing station up and running, no water supply in the garage so I have to carry from kitchen to RO tub. Circ pump and heater on and new 60L batch underway ;)

Just got the dry reef rock from seller in Germany. ....very quick and cheap ;)

It was full of dead stuff so I power washed them as best I could then dipped in ro a few times. Did some quick hack saw cuts to the bottom of a few interesting ones and stuck them in the tank.
