Welcome to R2R! I would agree with @lapin , it is not that much more work. The biggest difference is your main biological filtration is the rock in the display. A few more things to watch for and test. A little more work for way more reward.

It doesn’t have to be more work than freshwater if you do it “right” IE research and don’t just believe what you’d like to believe or what is easier.

It’s definitely higher stakes but completely worth it. Whatever you do, please keep us updated with lots of photos! :)
