Hi all,
Excited to be using the platform after getting a ton of useful advice from the forums. Been running this tank for 7 months now. Everything seems to be going well except for my Duncan, very small and hiding. some pics of my first (and only) saltwater setup:
20gal, running a bubble magus hob skimmer, chemipure elite and Purigen in the hob filter. 20lbs (?) live rock, 2 ocellaris clowns, 1 purple dottyback, 1 cleaner shrimp, 3 hermits, 1 turbo, 1 nassarius, 1 sand sifting star, and 2 urchins.
as for corals, a hammer (it’s grown 3 new heads!), 2 sets of blastos (growing quite fast), a couple of purple/green shrooms, a blue Yuma in the back, Aussie acan frag, a toadstool, and the green star polyp.
my little Duncan is not doing well; it was for a while but it’s been hiding for over a month. Params are good, Cal460, Alk 9, SG 1.024. no phosphates or nitrites, and there’s no algae issues going on. Running a vipaspectra black box and a Fluval marine nano (just to add gentle whites for viewing)
