First saltwater aquarium

Ok so I started a 20 gallon saltwater tank, I added bio-spira and a clown fish. I also have about 25 lbs if live rock. Salt in the tank is at 1.026, I acclimated the clown for about 25 mins but she only lasted 3 days before she passed. Now I git her from a friend who said she was about 4, what is my next step I don't want to add another clown just for it to pass as well.
