First Tank (40g breeder)

Just wanted to post so I can have a running history of my progression with this tank. It's my first tank and first time ever taking care of fish so please any advice is greatly appreciated!! Also if anyone has suggestions on my aquascape I'm open for any feedback!

Currently have a 40b that I got from FB marketplace

Equipment:
Fluval AC70
Eheim jager 100w
One ai prime 16hd (looking to get one more and a wavemaker for sure before adding corals)

Fish:
Banggai Cardinal
Pavo Damsel

Fish have been in here for about 3 days now and seem like they are getting use to their new home

Wasn't really planning on picking up this Pavo damsel when I made a trip to my LFS, but once the shop owner told me he was missing an eye and has been in the shop for 6 months, I felt bad for the guy and had to take him home

Also love how he has a permanent face to him

Ended up changing my aquascape today. I didn't really like the left side of my previous scape so changed it today. Honestly still not a big fan of this current scape but i spent an unreal amount of time on this today so it'll have to do for now. Might end up changing it again at some point
