First time attempting photography

Today I decided to attempt some photography of the yellowtail damsels in my 75 gallon aquarium. The colors still aren't as vivid as I'd like them but it's only my first try. Let me know what you guys think and any advice, compliments, or criticisms are greatly appreciated!!

Very nice especially for first attempt at it. Fish are hard to catch good shots of without luck of their cooperation.
 
I was using a canon eos rebel xs with the stock lens. It took me hours to figure out white balance and exposure and then I still had to get some good shots [emoji85] I'm pretty happy with them though
 
You can tell that they're all of the same fish because of the small nick on his tail. He's the only one that stays still long enough to photograph
