Fish’s pupils changing size?

This seems like an odd question but I know fish’s eyes don’t change in response to light like our do. What else would cause them to look smaller? Can cooper do this? Can their pupils change in size at all? And what would cause this? @Jay Hemdal @vetteguy53081 #DiseaseSquad

Please post pic of the eye in question but some can be stress, disease, vitamin deficiency, injury and gas bubble disease

Can it be related to ich or can that be a cause because I’m battling an active ich outbreak and treating. They were NOT swollen or popping out. I can confirm it’s also not gas bubble disease. But I was more so wondering if cooper can have an effect on the size of a fish’s pupils. They just look smaller and fish are sleeping right now and downstairs lol. Though stress would make sense at the moment.

Weird, Except for some sharks, I've not seen a fish's pupil react to light (or anything else). Is it both eyes or just one?

Both! I have to get some photos. But they are indeed smaller than before looking back at photos and videos.
