Hello,

Ordering my 2nd batch of QT'd fish and wanted to just get some ideas. 55 gallon Display mixed reef

I currently have
- 3 ocellaris clowns (will probably give the oddman out away but everyone is friendly so far)
- watchman goby pistol shrimp
- peppermint shrimp
- standard cuc

Tailspot blenny is 100% going to be one of my additions

was curious what some of the people on here would do. I will say i do enjoy my shrimp and plan on getting more so i know that cuts out some options. Would prefer a headache free selection

Some options I'd consider in that size tank:
  • Sixline wrasse (or other small wrasse)
  • Flame Angel or coral Beauty (one or the other, angels will fight in a tank that size)
  • Mandarin (ideally captive bred from @Biota_Marine )
  • group of 2-3 damsels (add them last, they are mean to newcomers)
  • Not a fish, but if you like shrimp, skunk cleaner shrimp. I absolutely LOVE these guys.

Great recommendations. Would the sixline be kind of a bully to Shrimp though? this is what I hear from people of the internet

no, sixlines are too small to bother all but the tiniest shrimp. I have never once seen mine bother my skunk cleaner or peppermints. Sexy shrimp or harlequin shrimp would be at risk.
