So, I was reading a thread by @bdejong1112o, called "Petco rescue.... hate that place." It got me thinking, pet stores, not all of them, and some fish owners, are not aware of the knowledge and responsibility that comes with keeping fish. That really bothers me. Anyone else?? I'm sure many know and care about fish and the responsibilities that comes along with them, but when I see those that don't, it honestly breaks my heart. When you buy a living thing, anything really, you make a promise to care for it for the rest of it's days. I think that it's our responsibility to raise "awareness," about the responsibilities of owning a fish, and anything else for that matter. It just got under my skin a bit. I know it's so corny, to share my feelings about this, but I think it should be more well-known and understood, that when you buy a living thing, it's not something you just don't care about, it's a life. As I am writing this, I feel so stupid, but I know that I can't possibly be the only one this bothers, and I want to know what you think.
