Which sicce? Is the return flow adequate? I want a bit smaller pump than I have and I like sicce.
It was a 3.0. I switched it out for a Jabeo DCW-6000 that I run at about 70ish percent. The flow was adequate, but it was just a bit noisy because I was using it as a utility pump prior to this build and accidently sucked up sand with it so the impeller magnet was a bit damaged and not smooth anymore.

We are frame off restoring a 77lwb I built the heck out of the 460. I inherited it from my “adopted” dad.

It’s on hold while I finish my truck and my son finishes his wife’s bronco.

I do not know why but I thought the other rebuild was older than a '77. Speaking of, we/I need current pics as you've not sent me anything for a while. Probably because of the idea that you don't really love me.

Take a wild guess at who is going to hold you to this?
her's a teaser at the lengths I am going to because of my OCD.

Yes I scratched it. And Yes, I will fix that. :)

The bezel was designed in TinkerCAD with the snap ring being .25mm too small so it was a strong friction fit under the carpet. Works like a charm. BTW, you can have a grommet installed in the carpet when you order but I hear they are never lined up right and they cost $65. This cost me five minutes of design time and about 20 cents.

These are the grab handles going on the exterior b-pillars.

I used boat rail endcaps and stainless thick wall tubing and bought a stainless blade for my little miter saw.

These were available in a similar look from the dealership but now, NOS ones are north of $300 a pair. I made these for under $60. And they stick with the theme of using boat cleats as the bed hooks instead of factory ones.

The 60 cube has been retrieved. Nothing is broken and it’s dirty but I think everything will work. The overflow has to stay however much I hate bottom plumbed tanks. So I will have to rethink the background unfortunately.

Got eat some dinner and clean the tank and sump and I’ll post before and after pics.

A bonus is two mp10 power heads. Not sure the model yet. But I’ll definitely keep them if I can get them working. They were turned off when I got there.

They are mp10qd pretty old but if they work, they work. At least they can be synched which is what I was hoping for.

Gotta go to Montgomery for Father’s Day brunch for Sherrys stepdad. Be home in the afternoon and I’ll get to cleaning and testing.

Not sure what the return pump is it’s dirty and I didn’t mess with it.

Heater is probably going in the bin.

Why does the overflow have to stay?

Why does the overflow have to stay?
Whoever built the tank (leaning towards planet) used continuous seams while building. They assembled the tank and put the overflow in before it cured.

I would have to cut out the overflow and all the internal seams and reseal.

Sucks but I will figure it out. Hey, it’s a free 60 cube setup.

Welp, no interior pics. Keeps raining off and on and I can't risk pulling the parts out to put them in the truck.

Sorry gang.

But, I am working on cleaning up the mess with the cube. Thus far I have gotten one of the two mp10 working the other it throwing some kind of code because the wet side it almost immovable. The return pump is a Sicce SDC 7.0 and I got it cleaned up and running great via the app.

The a80 fuge light wasn't working and I got it going thanks to contact cleaner and a bunch of elbow grease.

The zetlight was almost completely blocked by dust so it was super dim. I believe it's got a safety built in. All cleaned up now and very bright.

Here's a before of the zetlight:

I am going to sell off the pair of mp10w and the zetlight z8 UFO to go towards other stuff for the tank. My buddy has no issue with me doing that as long as it's for the tank.

Next up cleaning the sump and apex.

Let's try this again.

A lot of plans changed after I started a thread about getting a fish building/man cave so I am starting over and had the other thread deleted.

I am getting a 10x20 custom made building delivered in a couple months to house a 12 foot long planted angel tank, a couple of frag tanks and a Red Sea reefer 625XXL I got a great deal on last night.

I am starting the thread now because, the RS tank will replace my current 240 gallon tank as soon as my buddy picks it up so I have to set up the 625XXL to hold everything until the building is delivered and all the finishing work is done.

Here is a list of what will be done to the building:

Mini-split system capable of 600 square feet
humidity actuated exhaust fan
Multiple outlets added to what will already be there along with associated wiring and breakers
Insulation and waterproof 5.3mm plywood on the walls then primed and painted.
Custom built in desk and shelves for three 3d printers and supplies

The 12 foot tank measures 144" x 16 x 18 and holds approximately 140 gallons. I am modding the drains and returns to use two canister filters and a UV filter.

The RS 625XXL will have the drains adapted to imperial piping so I can use my fijicube 36 sump. I built a custom acrylic topoff that will be used on it and auto filled from my boosted RODI

I already ordered the adapters and modded the stand with steel to prevent droop. I hate the look of the retrofit kit Red Sea sends out to fix the potential sag.

I will be painting the inside of the cabinet white this weekend with Krylon fusion satin white after a good cleaning and making sure it's good and dry.

Also going to go ahead and install led lighting to the cabinet while it's easy to get into this weekend.

Here is a shot of the 12 foot tank when it was in my store before it closed:

This will be a months long build but, I will keep you posted and see it through to the end.
Looks great!
