Fish building/man cave build!

Making great progress cleaning up and organizing. I have setup sort of a lab at the end of the desk by the tank.

Also, almost done installing the magnet catches so I can then mark and cut the panels to size.

Started over on the control cabinet. It looked like crap and went in the bin.

Right now I am printing some hooks to help straighten up. BTW, @That Crusso Kid I got an a1mini with the Chitu plate changer. Pretty darn cool for production. You can set up 10 plates (I have 4 thus far) fill it with parts and let it swap out to the next plate when done and keep going. Going to make it really nice when I start printing dozens of board hooks and pegs for the shop.

I hadn't seen the plate changer before. I probably use my A1 Mini four times as often as my other machines (A1 and Centauri Carbon). I just may pick that up, just in case. I don't do any real production work but who knows. I'm also going to pre-order a SunLu AMS Lite Heater when it goes on sale next week. I have one AMS LIte but I rarely use it since I hardly ever do something in multi-color and without the dryer, it just means I have four damp rolls on the thing.

I've been putting off designing hooks for my stand but I've got it to do.

No idea what I'd need the Chitu for but I like the idea.

I forgot to add. I'm very interested in this, I have four brand new aluminum skins (I don't remember the name of what they are but they are aluminum skins with a thin corrugated aluminum core) for my stand that were very wonkily mounted. We like the stand open but I would like the option of enclosing it if my wife starts giving violin lessons again to keep hands out of the equipment.

I am for sure going to order the SunLu AMS Lite Dryer. But, I still think I might pick up something like this too in the mean time. Also ordering some of those bags you told me about!

Do you dry new rolls right out of the package?

No. I have 4 dryers and don’t even know where they are. Even in the room with these aquariums I don’t dry anything except P.C. and I do that in the qidimax 3 heated chamber. lol

I dry TPU and PETG when I think they need it. I dry PET-CF every time I use it, including right out of the box. PLA, ABS and ASA rarely need to be dried. I don't print nylon but it is considered an everytime filament as well.

I swear I just get lucky with filament. I have a 7 year old roll of you that I use to reprint rings and have never once dried it.
My PET-CF gets wet really easily. I only dry PETG maybe once a year or so as the moisture starts to accumulate and TPU because I only use it once every couple of years. I save up TPU prints and do them in batches.

I normally use Tunze care strong magnets. The two I have are way too strong for this tank.

They quit making the medium. I have a nano and it's just way too weak. Goldilocks in effect I guess.

Suggestions? The glass is 3/8"

Very cool and, yes, will be a game changer for the hooks and whatever else needs many multiples.

It's looking neat and tidy. Where is Steve and what have you done with him?

I have loads of suggestions for you.

I figured you would.

I have turned over a new leaf and decided to actually be able to find things when I need them. lol

I just finished these up for a customer.

They are designed to stack in a 5 gallon bucket with 1/2" pvc spacers to protect the frags while en route to frag swaps. When he gets there they will cover the bottom of an 18x36" frag tank.
