Fish building/man cave build!

Where can I find said leaf so I can also turn it over???
I’m told they are rare. At least turning one over is. I happened upon mine whilst cleaning up a bunch of stuff I dropped after tripping over something in the way that should have been put up long before.

🤣🤣🤣

I just finished these up for a customer.

They are designed to stack in a 5 gallon bucket with 1/2" pvc spacers to protect the frags while en route to frag swaps. When he gets there they will cover the bottom of an 18x36" frag tank.
Well done!

If going into a bucket, I might think about making them round for the "cool" affect. However, I realize that there may be less area to place frags. Although, with knowing the size of the squares, diameter of the bucket and size of plug holes, it would be easy to determine.

I have plans to make another set with clipped corners so I can actually make them bigger and still fit well in a rectangle or square frag tank.

I have a plan for something really cool to sell very soon. Once I finish the shop organization and build the deck I will have more time to develop it.

As always, stay tuned.

OK the office transition (except relocating the stair climber) is complete. Eventually, I will go through even more boxes and stuff in the closet but, for now, I can find stuff, use all the equipment including the CNC and not trip over anything else.

I threw out a trash dumpster full of stuff, gave away even more and I am building a list of things to list on FB. How does one accumulate 9 woodworking routers?

I have at least that many. Do you have any Porter Cable routers?

I did have an ancient D handle one but it got stolen along with a lot of other tools years ago.

I have an Elu plunge (under the quantum brand and the matching circular saw) that I won't ever get rid of and a dewalt combo and a bosch that I won't let go either.

I also have an antique craftsman in the metal case with the door planer attachment that the bit is still in the shipping wax.

The exact same way we all accumulate so many reefing/aquarium related things. Most which end up collecting dust, being given away, sold or thrown away.

OK guys, the temporary holding tank is taken down, vacuumed out and put in the storage unit. The room is super clean and neat now.

Time to work on the truck, the workshop and the yard.

I also started doing something I have been promising to do for a long, long time: I am learning to use my DSLR to take tank pics. I am going to get a good tripod because, according to my photographer friend, the one I have is crap. lol

Pics incoming tomorrow.

I believe this when I see it.

Are you all interested in photos of the whole room or just the tanks?
Yes.

Got some neon green sinularia today and some nirvana zoas.

My buddy brought back two printers I loaned him and I got one tuned up and cleaned and donated it today to a family with a special needs child. The other one has even more issues and is honestly not worth putting money into. I at least got it to power up after flashing firmware. Gonna do a deep dive and see if I can fix it or just chunk it. Sad thing is I was gonna trade it for frags. 😞

I have a buddy that, a few years back, had a fire and lost all his tanks when his garage burned down. I keep trying to get him to get back into it. He comes over once in a while and just sits and watches the planted tank for a bit and leaves. I swear I am going to give him a key to the room at some point. It's like therapy to him.

The fella who traded corals with me yesterday said he could just sit in my room and stare.

(I must say I am so glad the room is tidied up now and Sherry rearranged the seating. lol)

Anyone have a friend that likes to come over to see your aquariums?

Holy crap there is a lot to learn with photography. I mean, I kinda knew it, but I have been really doing a deep dive lately and it can be overwhelming and I haven't even gotten to post processing.

Speaking of photography, in the firs quoted message above, notice the last thing you said. That post was from Saturday. Still waiting...
