Fish disappears

We've had this tank for about 2 years now. We are still new to the saltwater life but have the basic grasp. We have 2 clowns 2 engineer gobies 4 chromis. We just put a bicolor angel fish in last night. This morning and this afternoon he was there. Within 4 hours he was gone.

How is this possible? Can a fish die and be eaten that fast? Where did my fish go ? :(

If you have a clean up crew then it can definitely disappear that quickly. Even without a cuc biological functions can break down a body pretty quickly, usually not 4hrs fast.

Another possibility is that the fish jumped.

Could he be hiding in your rock work .. could be a bit shy ! Could he have jumped ?

If I was a betting man, I would bet that it is hiding in the rock work until comfortable.
