Disaster! I was getting the brand new skimmer down and dropped it. I can't believe it. After a few choice words this was the damage

It broke the pump mounts off the acrylic base and broke the elbow coming off the body to the gate valve. Not good

OUCH! that's not fun. Is it salvageable or are you looking at having to replace the whole thing?

At least it shouldn't hold you back too much since you don't really need to run a skimmer for the first little while when you setting up a new tank and going through the initial cycle.
