I have a sixline wrasse in my 40 breeder. Good fish that swims in and out of the rock work and is very active :)

I second flasher wrasse or small fairy wrasse species. I recommend against a sixline, they can be problematic as they mature.

Six lines are very hardy but a lot of people have aggression issues with them. Mine was a model citizen until he committed suicide by hardwood. They will eat anything you feed the tank, plus whatever little bugs are crawling on your rocks. They don't need the bugs tho. They will not get along with other wrasse. Period.

Fairy and flasher wrasse are completely peaceful but get a little larger than the six line. As long as their max length is under 4", you'll be fine with one or 2 in a 40b. Since you have 2 clowns and a royal gramma already, I'd suggest only one more fish for your tank.
