About $12-$35 depending on the store. They are neat fish, I use to own a pair. They are like harmless eels.

Make sure your rock work is stable. They burrow in the sand under them and can make them fall.
 

Freshwater filter only or is it? Have you ever used an HOB filter on a saltwater tank?
