Hi, I have a 5 gallon reef aquarium and I am wondering if I can put a four stripe damselfish in it. If it is too big can I just keep it for a year or two and then sell it back and get a young one. I would only be keeping it with a clown goby

You will encounter territoriality issues if you put those two fish together in such as small tank. I would recommend either only the clown goby or upgrading to a 20+ gallon system.

Good luck!

Clown goby is best on that size , some folks keep tailspot blenny as well, I like them as well.

A firefish would be fine. A smaller species of damsel, such as springeri, kupang, or talbots would work.
