The only feedback I can really give is to bump up the brightness on your subject in the photo. This will allow the subject of your photo to stand out from the background and not blend in as much. Other than that they look great! Your composition and colors in your pictures are spot on, and you can really see what the focus of each picture should be!Anyone happen to have any additional feedback on how to improve?
Appreciate the feedback, it’s very specific and helpful! I’ll have to give that a try next time— it’s definitely a fine balance with brightness. The only feedback I can really give is to bump up the brightness on your subject in the photo. Thank you! You are correct, these were done without flash. I have been considering experimenting with flash since it can up the image quality (lower iso, etc). Appreciate the insights.beautiful set of pictures and subject, Id be very happy with what you have,
beleieve these are shot wihtout flash ? great work freezing the motion.
my only area for improvement would be a bit more conctrast or pop as the pics are tiny bit on the flat side, bit of flash might help with that
how are we feeling about the brightness of the subject/background separation in these? Do I need to bump the brightness of the subject up even more? @IntrinsicReef @Gumbies R Us @maroun.cI decided to buy a flash and try it out. Here are the results (still a surprisingly decent learning curve for flash).
I really like it. I think you nailed the color temp and didn't get overexposed areas. Thank you! I’m new to flash photography so I don’t have a ton of tips I can give. This was my first time— I did learn that the trick (or so I think) is to try to balance out the power of the flash to avoid harsh shadows. I pointed the flash up and also used a diffuser.I don't know very much about flash photography. Is there any tricks you learned?
