Fish prices

Haven’t bought fish in a while but why are the prices so high and will they come back down? Is it a covid related deal or what?

Yep, covid hit, shipping got crazy, and fish prices skyrocketed

My LFS has been stating it is hard to get the same size shipments in that they used to. Idk how true that is but it would make sense with everything else being delayed in the world

Yep, up and down. Seems things are coming down a little bit lately, but who knows if it's going to last.

Where’s the best prices? Saltwater fish.com or live aquaria?

I live in Sweden and I must say that I haven’t seen any large price increases...perhaps it’s because the prices here are stupid height to begin with ;)

In all seriousness I asked the owner of my LFS if his prices from the distributors had increased and he said a bit but not that bad.
Deliveries of direct imports were a bit more unreliable however due to the flight situation.
Any other Europeans who wants to chime in?
