I'd love some advice on stocking. It is a 20 gallon long tank with great, complex scape. A few months old and getting coralline growth - mix of corals.

Current:
- 2x ocellaris clowns
- yellow clown goby
- tail spot blenny
- mix of hermits and snails (8 total)

Interested in:
- royal Gramma
- Talbot's damsel fish

I have had two fire fish spaz out with lights going on and jump through my netting. I loved them...but can't do another. If I did go with a Talbot's...do folks suggest just 1 or two? Do royal Gramma hide too much? Any other suggestions as alternatives?

Imo those clowns will max out the tank. Once they mature, they likely won’t tolerate anything except bottom dwellers (and that’s if you’re lucky). I wouldn’t add any more.

My royal grammas have always been active once they settle.

Agree with above you're kind of pushing the limits on space. If anything, I would add the RG, its peaceful and easy going.

The tank is a little too populated and small to add a damsel in there, that's risky IMO.

My royal gramma is out all the time. They just need to settle. I would do that over the damsel in a tank that size.
