Looking to finish my fish and inverts in my mature 80 (24*48*16).
1479561950960.jpg

Currently housing
Large maroon clownfish
Yellow wrasse
Lubbock wrasse
Ruby head wrasse
Melaranus wrasse
Common firefish

Everybody is nice and peaceful and would like to keep it that way. Also well stocked mixed reef so I would like to avoid coral nippers.
My thoughts are maybe 2 more fish, maybe.
Potentially
Purple firefish ( not confident in compatibility)
Long nose Hawk
Small maroon to pair with the current one
Small yellow eyed kole tang
Midas blenny
Couple gobies (unsure of type)
Couple Cardinals

Any thoughts on compatibility/experiences would be greatly appreciated

I love the Midas Blenny and would strongly recommend one! However, you really want to make sure you have a tight fitting lid. I've personally never had one jump but I've heard it happen dozens of times at work.

When maroons pr up and start laying eggs they can get very aggressive.

Firefish are intolerant of conspecifics unless a bonded pr.

I am concerned of clown aggression during breeding. One of the reasons I haven't done it yet.
With the firefish, it seems people mix the species successfully, just not 2 of the same (outside of mated pairs)

It's hit-and-miss with different species of firefish.
