Fish store in Shreveport

Not really. There is Aquarium Concepts out near LSU-S. It has been there for probably 30 years. I haven't been in the shop for probably 15+ years so no idea what it is like now. He basically has been the only constant saltwater store in the area. There have been a couple of others that were good but they didn't last but a couple of years. Aquarium Concepts makes it by on service work. Unless he has changed, he never got into the rare or expensive stuff, he didn't want to tie any money up in inventory. I remember if you wanted something like a purple tang he would make you pay up front and you would have to get it when it came in.

There was a store called Epic Aquaria that was located in downtown Shreveport on Milam St. I'm not sure if it is still there or not. It opened up 4 or 5 years ago. The first couple of times I went there it was really nice and had a great selection of coral frags with a few rare pieces. I was in town back in late 2019 and went by there and it had really gone down hill. There were only a couple of corals in the coral tanks and the tanks looked horrible. Not sure what had happened. They haven't updated their facebook page in awhile and they had gone to being open only 2 days a week so they may not be around anymore.

That is all I know about. There may be some basement sellers there.

Yeah I remember a few stores showing up on google a few years back. Went to this pet store and all they had was one saltwater tank with just clowns. I even asked the staff at the Shreveport aquarium and they said they didn’t know of any lol.
