"Raceway" I like that, it fits! Lol
Sorry about your fairy wrasse :( It is the reason I don't have any RBTAs... but I do love them! I haven't tried rock nems... been thinking of doing so in the near future.

Thanks.... what makes it even worse is the fact that he was going to be moved into the raceway as he was out-growing the 150... no more RBTA for me!

Yeah not sure when I will start a build thread. Right now I have a sump, return pump, protein skimmer and three powerheads. Waiting until the 2nd and 4th to use a 10$ off coupon with the 1$ per gal sale at Petco to get my tank and refugium tank. I've had a 38 Gal FW tank for about 8 months now. Anyway was wondering if you had any helpful links for getting started in the world of saltwater. I have read this whole thread and all the hyperlinks that were posted. I have also checked out the startup page on this forum (How to set up a saltwater reef aquarium tank- REEFEDITION). Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The REEFEDITION "How to" is a great resource and glad you found and read it, a few others...

Yet another reason I don't like Teflon tape, got these used but didn't think to test them, you can just make out a hairline crack... They were stuck together with Teflon tape which I removed cleaned and used potable water sealant on all PVC threaded fittings but this one just started to drip.

Have a box full of left over plumbing parts so not a big deal to replace it's just a pain in the rear!
