I have a tight fitting lid. I lost a wrasse who tried to jump and hit the lid so hard it caused internal bleeding. Before that I really enjoyed him.

Yes, I did a necropsy.

You really need a screen lid, just frame on the edge. Clear glass or clear plastic lid is not advisable. I even cover the overflow to keep my wrasses from jumping in there.
