Anybody have fish that just don't eat like other fish?

I am on my fourth Rock Beauty. Had two outgrow my tanks, one jump out and my current one is in introduction tank. All of these fish ate flake and pellets before they ate mysis, brine, Caribbean Mix from BSD or anythings. The other three eventually got to where they ate anything and grew almost as fast as a queen or blue angel. This current one is about two months and it still does not want to eat mysis or even brine shrimp. This amazes me. Can they taste the spirulina and are drawn to this?

I also have a blue star leopard that mostly only wants to hunt and eat flake food. This is also strange to me.

Has anybody noticed any strange eating habits for certain fish?

I can't speak specifically to rock beauties, but all my angelfish eat everything: about a half dozen different types of pellets, 3 types of seaweed and a half dozen different kinds of food (calanus, brine, mysis, seasides, clams, etc.)

Good trouble: Have mushrooms ever become pests in your aquarium?
