Fish Tournament: Large Angels. Championship!

[danenelsen]

Hello reefers! Welcome to the championship vote of the Large Angelfish tournament! It all comes down to this; two angelfish, going head-to-head in order to claim the title of “Best Large Angel”. While selecting, the best overall angel should receive your vote. The results will be posted tomorrow morning. Let’s crown a champion! @Reefkeepers Archive

Previous Winners:
Emperor VS. French
Majestic VS. Regal

Emperor Angelfish (Pomacanthus imperator)

Regal Angelfish (Pygoplites diacanthus)

Both have me thinking about a FOWLR

This one is hard. I have a regal and I love her! The emperor is my dream fish though…

[kevgib67]

I put a picture of both on my dartboard, closed my eyes and tossed a dart. It landed on the Regal.

If it’s that hard of decision, that’s a good way to do it!

Let’s get some more opinions!

[LA Reef Addict]

A true orange tail emperor from xmas islands is pretty darn special but other than that, not many fish can compete with the beauty of a true red sea regal angel.

Agree! Mines a red sea orange belly and beautiful! Dont have an emp. Last emp passed for a reason I wasnt able to figure out since all my other fish in the tank were fine

The last 4 Angels are beauties but the Regal is the best of all by a narrow margin over the Majestic and Emperor. The last three names said it all.

Emperor, you know I love you. But I'm gonna have to give it to the Regal

[steveschuerger]

Another Regal vote. It’s just too darned bright and pretty.

[dakoop]

Two beautiful fish

Emperor all the way! The contrast is more eye catching, I think anyway.

[OrionN]

I knew that the Regal will win. :)
