Sounds like a conundrum.
So let me help. A healthy regal might be hard to find. Getting one to eat may or may not happen. I'm not sure if their mortality rate is the same as copperbanded butterfly fish.

So, there is the added stress of getting them to eat in captivity. Best to pass. Pretty coral are a much safer bet.

If anyone’s grown a Bali Aquarich CB Regal to sub-adult / adult size, would love to see pics.

Also is it true both basically top out at around 5-6” in captivity?
