I originally had two quarantine tanks setup. One contained KP Aquatics live rock and one for the torches. When the KP live rock was done with it QT, I placed all but 2 baseball sized live rock into my DT. The 2 rocks stayed in the QT and I placed the torches with the 2 rocks. I am assuming the 2 rocks are now needing to be reset because it would have the boring spionid worms???
that I don't know. i've only ever had them in the corals as frags and it was super easy to dip just the frag. Have you seen them in the rock? they may not have ventured there yet

I had placed two large mexican turbo snails that I have had for 5 years into the QT to eat the algae that the LED was helping to create. I just saw that one of the snails has them on a portion of its shell.

Are they boring spionids or just plain spionids? Are you able to get pictures?

That stinks. I pulled mine out, had a turbo with the same. I put a drop of ivermectin in the hole and left it out for a few minutes. I will have to track that snail down and see of it worked.

My view. Keep thinking of all the fish and bio sand I keep passing. Pulled out of Fort Lauderdale yesterday afternoon. Will be in Saint Martin in two days.

Is this your special way of saying that your new lights won't be up for a little longer?

I had a battery air pump that I used on my 40B. I will need to buy 2 more for this tank. The 3 fish are good but I did loose 3 turbos oddly.

I received a notification from Dr Reef that my QT fishes and QT inverts are ready for shipment. I will be paying that today.

Did you loose power from the storm?
No but I was prepared if I did. Generator was on standby. I’m glad you got through it with minimal loss. Once all the planned wind mills are up and running we will never have to worry about power loss again! 🤣

I believe i deserve a pat on the back! Took out my Christmas gift that I bought for myself to use for the first time!!!! I place the tropic Marin hydrometer in my DT. It read 1.026. I took it out of the tank and proceeded to the kitchen with the hydrometer in hand…which is the next room to get a paper towel to dry the hydrometer. Holding the hydrometer in one hand and tearing paper towel of the roll with the other. Went to dry the hydrometer and dropped it. Fragile glass and what I believe is mercury beads all over my floor. It’s scattered in every direction for like 20 feet down the hallway under the cabinets. What a mess.
