Decided to turn one of my fluval evo 13.5 gallon tanks into a nano anemone tank. Replaced the rocks with new caribsea liferock, as I wanted to rescape, but kept the fiji pink sand. Tank has a Sicce synchra silent return pump. Next upgrade will be to replace the stock light and lid with a Kraken reef lid and either an AI Prime 16HD like my wife's evo, or a Nicrew LED reef light. Tank is set up as a peninsula, so will be viewable from both sides, with the rock flowers lined down the branch rock, and the bubbletips on the main rock by the back wall of the tank. The fake rock frag rack has been removed.

Working on getting the tank ready for the maxi minis, bubbletips, and wyoming white clowns. Removing the red stoplight cardinals, firefish, and midnight lightning ocellaris clown pair shortly as they were being housed in this tank while their tank sits fallow.

The tank will house a pair of wyoming white clowns and a colony of sexy shrimp. Any other fish/invert suggestions?

Pic of the wyoming white clowns, don't have the sexy shrimp yet.

I think this tank is going to have no corals, just the maxi mini nems and acid wash bubbletips.

These are the maxi mini nems going in:

Ordered some new stuff for the tank.

Mesh Lid:

Light: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B089ZW8C2Y?ref=ppx_pt2_mob_b_prod_image

Light controller:

And picture of the tank as it sits today. Still have to catch the fish out and swap them into a different system. I'll get around to it before moving the anemones into the tank.

Lid and light arrived yesterday, got them all hooked up. I adjusted the lights now to be bluer than they look in these pictures.

Ended up moving the red stoplight cardinalfish into the 75 gallon mixed reef. The clowns and firefish are still in the EVO, waiting for their tank to finish sitting fallow (mid-April).

The rest of the anemones came today, and all the maxi mini and both acid wash bubbletip anemones were acclimated to the tank. All but 1 maxi mini has attached to the rockwork, and both bubbletips have attached.

Ended up turning down the light intensity today. It was way too bright and all the anemones either climbed under the rockwork or to the far corner of the tank... whoops.

Whites are now 5%, blues are at 50%.

Lol, that wasn't even the whole shipment. All the Euphyllia are coming Wednesday. They forgot to ship them with the rest of the order.

Really excited to see more... I love me some RFA’s
We put a total of 7 maxi minis in this tank, and 2 of the acid wash bubble tip anemones.

Our 47 gallon will have 5 RFAs (possibly more later on, but we already bought 5 of them), along with one of the clones from our Rainbow BTA in the 75 gallon.

I had a small maxi mini / rock flower tank fit a little while. It was great.
I eventually tossed them all in my Red Sea reefer 200xl and they direst all over which sucked Looked way cooler all on top of each other

Well, did a deep clean on this tank today. Both of the tiny acid wash bubbletips vanished, no idea what happened to them. I won't be replacing them with another baby anemone. I'll probably put one of the clones from my rainbow bubbletip in here, they're much larger and seem to do much better for me than the green bubbletips. The purple photosynthetic gorgonian we moved from the 75 gallon that killed both an Acropora and a Grape coral (Euphyllia cristata) is thriving in this tank.

For tonight, the tank is also holding 100 astraea snails, 100 blue leg hermits, and 3 emerald crabs, as my wife didn't know which tanks they were supposed to go into, so they will be sorted tomorrow into their proper tanks.

The wyoming white clown pair will be moving in towards the middle of the month. My wife's evo will finish the fallow period for Brooklynella and her midnight lightning ocellaris clown pair and firefish pair will be moving back into her tank. Then the wyoming whites will be transferred over, getting the last unsightly mesh breeder box out of my 75 gallon setup.

Most of the maxi minis settled back down to the rockwork or sandbed, except the yellow and purple one. It is the largest, with the strongest sting, and settled into the top corner. My wife scrubbed the walls today and repeatedly brushed her arm against it and ended up with her whole arm broke out in hives. Some topical steroid cream and 50mg of benadryl solved it for now.

But the tank is looking great overall!

Finally got my wife's clowns and firefish out of the tank today and moved the wyoming white ocellaris pair in! We also decided to add a Favia and a chalice coral to the tank. I'll get pictures later once I clean the glass off and the clowns have settled in. The maxi mini that stung my wife so hard also finally crawled back down to the rockwork from the top corner of the tank where it was hard to avoid it while doing maintenance.

Couple pics post water change. You can see the new corals in here, and the wyoming white clowns finally moved in! Looks a little cloudy because water change was just finished, and it's much harder to get good pics with the Nicrew 50W vs the AI Prime 16HD on the other evo, or the ViparSpectra 165Ws on the other tanks.
