This is my friend who sadly passed away 2 years ago with his Striper. It was an epic day with the Stripers stacked up along the breakers feeding on Sand Eels.

I do mostly catch and release and occasionally keep one for the table.
Since this one was gill hooked it's chance for survival was slim so I kept it... it was delicious!

You get out for snapper season?

I got out a couple times on the gulf side in June but nothing impressive, just a standard assortment of mangrove, lane, yellow tail. No reds. July was lost here bc I went fishing down on the pacific side of panama and that took up all my play money. Lol.
