I think the hybrid transfer method is pretty solid. And with black mollies as a canary in the coal mine I would think the QT’d fish is good to go. The extra few weeks is really extra diligence , right? One thing you could do is rub a slide on the fishes side and look for trophonts. If you are so inclined.@Victoria M : quick Q. I've had Tomi in observation with 3 mollies since 4/6, after hybrid TTM and 10 days NFG. Planning to Put her in display over the weekend. 2.5-3 weeks is long enough, right?
NNOOOOO! That sucks! My ******* urchin killed my coco worm and ripped all of the parchment tube off the feather duster.
Man! That sucks! Make a hook to hang on the glass rather than suction cups? I hate suction cups.1.25pm: new acclimation box for Tomi arrived.
1.37pm: stole 15 minutes away from girls to assemble
1.50pm: stuck box to glass in dry sump chamber to test.
1.52pm: returned upstairs to hang out with girls
4.00pm: downstairs for afternoon QT check. New acclimation box in 3 pieces on bottom of sump
Uugghhh
Need to do some work with the weld On 4 after dinner.
Got EVEN MORE goodies coming!!!
was my fault- empty sump chamber, didn't torque down the suction cups. They come with a screw on cap that really gets them stuck right onMan! That sucks! Make a hook to hang on the glass rather than suction cups? I hate suction cups.
Plus I bought this one specifically because it had hooks... which don't fit over the tank rim...Man! That sucks! Make a hook to hang on the glass rather than suction cups? I hate suction cups.
Yeah.NNOOOOO! That sucks!
Such a bummer. Sometimes I hate this hobby ;FacepalmYeah.
$8 bog standard urchin vs a $60 6" pink and white coco and a $20 4" gold and brown feather.
Not happy.
Might just keep the more sensitive inverts in the macro display from now on
I Don't know why I mentioned prices- I'm more upset at the loss of the beautiful specimens. That coco was really niceSuch a bummer. Sometimes I hate this hobby ;Facepalm
