I found this link, and it talks about using "Fish Keeper" to, "stimulate a fishes natural defenses by boosting its immune system and ability to heal itself": http://www.tsbiolabs.com/product_p/ts-71475.htm

Of course, it doesn't list any actual ingredients so it's hard to say if this product is more of a vitamin supplement or herbal remedy. o_O

I've had issues in the past mixing Prazipro with other medications, so I would advise against using this product in QT if you plan on dosing meds. No telling what interaction issues you might run into.

I think the FW dip probably finished him off, prazipro reduces oxygen in the system and the PH. Based on the pictures and heavy breathing on his side I think lack of oxygen is the killer here.

Awesome thank you so much! Have you written any books on your findings and processes you have used? I love reading all the posts you have created it has been extremely helpful through this process. Thanks again!

I'm still conducting experiments to confirm my findings. And there are so many other ideas I want to try out. Perhaps when it has all been proven to my satisfaction I will write a book. :)

Awesome. Any specific books you would recommend currently on diseases and angels?

Im looking to get a new angel in the next few days. Maybe I can help in some way?

Can you tell me how you would QT this specific fish? What you would look for when buying this fish from your lfs. How long you would keep in QT? What meds, food you would use and what stages you would use them?

I'm going to keep posting on this thread and see what results I get and if I can get the angel healthy and live a long life in my display tank!

Thanks again!

Fish Disease: Diagnosis and Treatment by Dr. Edward J. Noga

Captive Seawater Fishes: Science and Technology by Dr. Stephen Spotte

However, using Google Scholar for marine biology papers will yield more recent info.

Due to their known sensitivity to copper, I personally would use TTM to QT a Flame Angel: https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/tank-transfer-method.192655/

I would observe for 2-3 weeks post tank transfer, and while Flames aren't known to be finicky these two frozen foods have proved useful to get angels eating in QT:
