I have had a flame angelfish and a bonded pair of clownfish in my aquarium for over 5 years. Red sea Reefer 450 (90 gallon display). No problems with aggression from the flame and no problems with coral nipping. But over the past few months the flame has decided he wants to constantly bully the pair of clownfish to the point where they are always huddled in the upper corner of my tank.

The only thing that has changed is my feeding spot. I used to broadcast feed but I did get an avast plank feeder and it is on the end where the clownfish have always stayed. I have been putting my frozen food into the feeder in order to have it better dispersed around the tank.

Do you think the fact that the food is now coming from one area rather than throughout the tank would initiate the aggression? Or is my flame just being an .......?

It’s possible and the way to find out is to feed in a different location temporarily and see if that changes the behavior
I have 2 flames in different tanks and super peaceful
