I Purchased a flasher wrasse 3 weeks ago and was doing fine, eating and out in the open. Then Two weeks ago he disappeared, I thought he jumped out, or died, he was nowhere to be found, I called the search off and decided he was gone for good. But today I go to check on my tank an he swimming around like he has always been there, he doesn't look to be skinny, he actually seems pretty fat, makes no sense, where did he go? Do flasher wrasse do this?

I took my netted top off to do some work and he jumped out over my tank into my frag tank right next to it. My jaw dropped.

Wrasses do that, they like to go hide for days on end sometime. They'll go somewhere and bury themselve in the substrate and hang out. Mine used to do it if I introduce a new fish that he was afraid of, like when I put in the banner butterfly that I bought.
