Fleece roller + WB 190.5

I could use some assistance from Waterbox 190.5 owners who have a fleece roller. I think I’m specifically looking at the Red Sea Reefmat to replace my filter socks but open to others. If possible could you tell me what you have and what you did to install it. I’ve been looking through threads but not putting it all together in my head. I have the sump where you can pull out the filter sock area. Thanks a bunch. This would be really helpful. Appreciate it!

Did you make a decision/purchase on this? I have the same setup and am looking at the RM500. Would love to hear what you did

I did research and landed on the Clarisea Gen3. Though I never made the jump yet. I got rid of the socks and went with filter floss for now. In the future I will probably upgrade but it is another piece of equipment to manage.

I built a new WB 190.5 and was determined to use, (had previous experience with) a RedSea 1200. Ant this is how it all worked out. I took 2 90 degree 40mm elbows around the emergency drain and angled down to the black RS drain line and connected to the ReefMat. Setting the ReefMat sideways with the motor drive to the front of the tank stand. Use the provided legs for the proper height. Due to raising the water level at the emergency drain in the wier, another story! I wanted the emergency drain to drain into the top of the Reefmat as well. I used 2 40mm 45 degree elbows, 1 90 degree elbows, thread to slip coupler, 1 1/4 barb with a short piece tubing to spill into the top of the ReefMat. All the metric fitting were from Amazon, pipe came with WB and this has been working successfully for over a year. Good Luck,
