I've been cleaning my glass tank with a credit card for the past year and a half. I've been doing this to prevent scratching the tank but I'm looking for an easier solution to clean the glass that doesn't require my hands in the tank as much. I've pretty much narrowed it down to the Tunze and the Flipper, which one do you guys like? Looking for one that won't easily scratch the tank.

I use a magic eraser. I’m paranoid about scratching the glass too. I’ve heard of some people scratching their glass with the ones you mentioned.

Flipper. Scratched my tempered glass with a glass magfloat and swapped to the acrylic one with no issues. Switched to the flipper to scrape off coralline.

Thanks all, i think I’ll try a flipper!

Unfortunately, if not careful they can all scratch glass. This is mostly the case if you have sand. Even a single grain of sand getting stuck under the scraper will scratch the glass, More so with low iron glass.
