Just remember that not all power outages are created equal. All the reports I have seen show the bulk distribution system to be holding up fairly well. It is the local distribution that is failing (as expected). This should make recovery quick for all but the more remote customers.

Well said.

I'm near Disney- thankfully, it has been a non-event here. We all slept through the night- still have power, and no obvious damage. Can't complain. Hopefully the coast was spared from the worst too.

North Central Florida here; still looking good. some rain and wind but nothing major. Family safe at home, I'm at work, power still on, pets safe and tank still running!! Hope everyone is safe!!!!

Someone suggested getting an inverter from discount auto. My husband is on his way to pick one up now so we can at least get some water movement in each tank. We will just do each tank on a rotation

Mount Dora here and going on four hours without power. Worried about our theee Reef tanks :(

Hope you have a battery backup or some battery powered air pump and stone. If not an inverter can work or If you have absolutely no back up device to provide air you can stand on a chair and use a pitcher to repeatedly dip up water and pour it back into the tank. This will help oxygenate the water and move it.
