Reply to my other comment. I read the article. If your position is “do nothing, ignore it”, then you’ve made your position. We’ll all take it into account.Your argument is not based on facts. The whole banning position is based on the old enviro tactic of labelling something as a threat, & then demanding implementation of the precautionary principle.
The Polly didn't implement the ban because -"Overall, the impacts of oxybenzone and octinoxate to intact corals occur at much higher concentrations than this study found in seawater near coral reefs".
Here's a display of the tactics supporters of this, & similar issues use. Aggressively belittle & insult your opponents, then accuse them of "making it personal" :rolleyes:I was talking in general but of course, your ego may have gotten hurt and you had to make it personal. BTW your analogy falls short to be even a real comparison to the topic of the discussion. Nice distraction though the award should be arriving soon.
My position is, if evidence exists that these chemical are impacting coral reefs, ban them.Your position is nothing backs your position? Alrighty then.

Your first post was sarcastically rude to everyone who you disagree with, son!1. I was never aggressive.
2. Please show me where I insulted you.
3. You made it personal, not me.
Keep spinning the facts, please.
It’s a shame that you’ve made yourself a victim when there’s a perfectly good article for discussion not to mention an entire World Wide Web for you to go out and support your argument. This is why we can’t have nice things. Here's a display of the tactics supporters of this, & similar issues use. Teaming up with another to attack someone you're loosing an argument to is a dog act. It’s a shame that you’ve made yourself a victim when there’s a perfectly good article for discussion not to mention an entire World Wide Web for you to go out and support your argument. Re-read that & your previous post to me.
They've already been here. You want to focus on me because you hold a grudge about some other debate we were suppose to have had some time back, of which you obviously lost. It’s supposed to be a discussion. Of course people team up with people they agree with. I’m sure someone will come support you soon.
I’m sorry you feel that way. In that exchange you continuously cited sources linked to big oil. Memory is not a grudge. I disagreed with you. A good exchange between us wouldn’t have winners or losers. The outcome should be that we both gain more knowledge. I’m sorry you feel you’re being attacked. I don’t think anybody could disagree with you without you feeling that way. Where do we go from here? They've already been here. such a contrarian. I don’t think you believe in anything at all...just like to push others buttons. Why are you so unhappy that you would argue against protecting coral reefs on a reef forum...? What’s going on man? I see you on every post spreading negativity. The Polly didn't implement the ban because -

:)
If you can show me the evidence that coral reefs are genuinely in danger from sunscreen, please continue. If not, don't post to me.such a contrarian. Lucky they make strawmen, otherwise you'd have no argument. But continue with off topic personal attacks. Hopefully your effort so far will be moderated like your effort the other day was. It’s Friday night. Maybe just have a beer? Watch some Netflix? Take some night shots of your tank? Play some Xbox? Swipe right on Tinder? Really anything besides argue against reef conservation...
